Sharing is Caring

My favorite holiday is Christmas because we receive gifts.  Giving a gift to someone else shows how much you care about that person. Christmas is a time were you and your family can exchange gifts. You can make Christmas cookies and visit family. You can also sing Christmas carols. Decorating your house for Christmas, in my opinion, is much more fun than decorating for Halloween.

Decorating the Christmas tree is really fun. You can use a real tree or a fake tree to use. I use lights, ornaments, and garlands to decorate my tree. Sometimes my family keeps the Christmas tree up all year long. This is how we decorate our tree. First, we put a blanket on the carpet. Next, we set the Christmas tree on top. Finally, we decorate the tree with garland, ornaments, lights, candy canes, pictures of ourselves, and teddy bears. After we’re done decorating the Christmas tree, we turn off the light, plug in the Christmas tree, and sit back and watch the Christmas tree light up!

I love opening presents! My sister and I usually have to wait to open presents because my mom and dad want to take pictures of us. My sister usually gets something girly like lip gloss or nail polish. I usually want something boyish like dinosaurs or toy cars. I don’t really ask for a lot toys anymore, but my sister wants anything that might look good on her. I try to give my parents gifts that they might enjoy. It is really hard for me to think of something to give them without spending money. I just decided that giving them hugs are the best gifts I could give them.

  1. Hi Zarya,
A great post. Personally, I don’t like seeing Christmas decorations up until at least December begins.

I am sorry but something in your settings doesn’t allow the post to be flipped to our magazine. You might need to have your teacher check that on the class blog the settings allow search engines.
